La página web de la cadena de televisión Al-Arabiya ha sido hackeada otra vez. Al parecer hay una guerra cibernética entre shiíes y sunníes que se dedican a hackearse sitios web mutuamente. No sé cómo acabará la cosa, pero mientras ambos grupos islámicos se pelean entre ellos es posible que dejen al resto del mundo en paz. Sin embargo el mensaje conciliador del hacker es claro y preocupante: "Detengamos esta guerra entre nosotros y unámonos para enfrentarnos a nuestros enemigos". Entiendo que los enemigos somos nosotros, los cruzados, los infieles.

I think it's just some kid that was playing. The funny thing is that his message was full of spelling mistakes, both in Arabic and English.
The first hacking rule should be: Learn spelling or let someone do it for you!!

Basil, Kids? They are hacking sites on both sides since a while (sunnis against shias and viceversa) and I don't think they are just kids. On this ocassion the hacker is trying to get the attention in order to end the sectarian cyberwar.
Well, here is the thing. Alarabiya TV is quite indifferent when it comes to sects (Sunnis or Shiah) or religion in general. They do not care whether the incident was created by a sunni or shiah.
Therefore it is not a good target for a sectarian online war. There are much better targets (i.e. sunni discussion forums, sunni Sheikh websites... etc) It is, nevertheless, perfect for someone who wants publicity.
